Hapara Manaiakalani Digital Fluency

Today has been intensive but a real game changer kind of a day. We have learned about using Screen Castify as a way to create, which is part of the Manaiakalani pedagogy. It was challenging learning to use the tool in a few moments but it was very user friendly. Time to develop a script would have been helpful!!! All part of the learning!

We also had a look at Hapara, which is what my video is all about. It feels like it has been the missing link to this process. It was great to see the work space and learn about how to share work with students. It is incredibly exciting to see how Hapara links to our Google sites. I have been a user of Google classroom for quite some time and I see that Hapara is far more expansive than this and the biggest benefit is making learning visible and accessible to our students.

  1. Nice video Shelly ka pai!
You're quite right Hapara teacher dashboard really helps to bring everything together especially workspaces. I often think of Hapara as Google Classroom on steroids.

You can resize your video so it takes up more space on your blog post if you like by changing the pixel dimensions in the frame. We touched on this the week Dave Winter was up. Below is a link to w3schools iframe tag which explains how to do it in detail https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_iframe.asp and you can try it out in their editor.
